About Nancy

I'd describe my personality as kind, nonjudgmental friendly I like caring for seniors because they have years of experience which makes them both interesting as well as knowledgeable. They usually like companionship and often a strong friendship can develop. I'm looking for a job that will give me some time to fill empty hours, provide me extra income to allow me to save for some future travel. I started caring for seniors when I was in nursing school at the age of 18. In my spare time, I like to read, walk, play cards with friends and swim. One thing you should know about me is I'm a retired obstetrical nurse with 40 years of nursing. I also worked in a dementia unit and had geriatric experience in my early career. I have for the last 3 years watched my granddaughters, now age 3 and 10 months for 3 days a week. My skills include assistance in activities of daily living. Providing comfort care and companionship.
