About Nan

I am currently a nursing student at Seattle university. Due to children's resilience, curiosity nature, and active imagination I have grown a passion with working with children. I have previously worked a preschool creating activities to further expand reading comprehension based on different books that are chooses each week. I had also helped with nap time, setting up lunch and help feed student, and provide a safe space were my students were able to express and communicate big emotions to resolve conflict. Throughout my experience I had gained the ability to adapt quickly a multitude of children's behaviors and characteristic. Furthermore I am bilingual in both English and Spanish which has also helped me communicate with students who are bilingual. Lastly I have babysat for a little over four years, manly children between the ages 2-7, and on the occasion infants. Through this experience I prepared food, did small art activates, lots of play time with toys and outside.
