Did a phone interview, brought her in for a face to face interview & introduced her to my husband. Gave her a list of job duties, asked if she had experience working with total care patients. She answered yes to all the questions except the feeding tube & bowel program but she said she wanted to learn. She told us she had experience with Hoyer lifts & suctioning patients. So I hired her. After hiring her my other help & I both noticed that she didn't seem so sure of yourself & didn't really seem to know the things she told us she knew how to do. She called off her 2nd day of training because she had a migraine. RED FLAG, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She trained 2 more times, which the more she worked the less confident I was becoming her skills. Then 1/2 before her next shift she texted that this was not going to work out that she wasn't confident taking care of my husband, even though in the interview process she told us she was good with him.
