About Nia

Nurturing young minds is my passion. For seven years, I've had the joy of supporting families by providing reliable childcare, mentoring, and tutoring services for children aged newborn to 12 years. I am comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I am CPR/First Aid certified. My graduate-level education includes coursework in child development, learning and behavior, youth mental health, and more. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I follow parents' lead as it relates to rules and expectations, communication preferences, and day to day routines. I am also happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and crafts. I believe in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
