About Nia

I've found myself to just enjoy working with kids. I'd say the main thing is their joy as children. I also am fascinated by their development, being able to witness them take in and learn the things as they interact and play day to day. I'm seeking a job that I'll be able to build connections and gain experience from. As well as learn new or more things I hadn't previously. My childcare skills include being compassionate with them, understanding that they're still learning the world and don't quite understand a whole lot as we have had experience to [learn]. I'd say patience ties into the compassion; being patient and guiding them through i. e, frustration when they're unable to do a specific task. Lastly reciprocity/focus would be a skill I'd include, to bond with a child, focusing on their area of interest when they're trying to show you something. I then try and reciprocate their excitement.
