, Hello there, I'm Nicky! I recently moved to Maryland from Florida and have cared for children from infancy through the teen years. I started babysitting at 13 and went on to work as a preschool assistant, infant nanny, and after-school aide. I've also volunteered with children with disabilities and in an elementary classroom. I believe every child is a full person--capable, curious, and deserving of respect. My goal each day is to create a calm, safe, and engaging environment where kids feel valued and encouraged to explore their imagination. I involve children in daily routines, crafts, and play to build confidence and independence. I'm CPR & First Aid Certified (Adults & Children) and a Certified Children's Yoga Teacher, with strong communication skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
