I enjoy working with kids because it's rewarding to help a family, plus being around kids always puts me in a good mood and keeps me present in the moment. I'm looking for a job that allows for fun and creativity. That said, I also know when it's time to be serious. Fun and responsibility don't need to mutually exclusive! I started babysitting when I was 12; I'm the oldest of 4 so it was a necessity for my family. I took babysitting classes and got my CPR certification at that age. 20+ years later and it's still my favorite form of work. In my spare time, I like to create, explore, and get outside.
