About Nicole

I have worked in early childhood education for a little over 10 years as a lead preschool teacher. I have a CDA (child development associate), CPR, and First Aid, as well as numerous trainings and workshops concerning children. I love working with all ages and I am very passionate about what I do! I enjoy helping children learn, grow and develop. I attended Anamarc Educational Institute and received my CDA after 2 years of study and on the job training. I have found that I relate well to young children and get great satisfaction helping them to learn and to make their way into a difficult world. I feel that what they learn at a young age has a huge bearing on what kind of individuals they will be as young adults and throughout their lifetimes. While I would not consider myself fluent in Spanish, I am able to communicate with the non-English speaking children and feel that in time, my language skills can only improve. I especially enjoy reading stories and working on arts and crafts projects. I consider myself to be a hard worker and I am flexible and open to the changes that can take place in the work atmosphere. I am able to get along well with other adults as well as with the children and will make a great asset to any family.
