About Nicole

Hello! My name is Nicole and I love to teach. I'm licensed to teach grades 1-6 in the Pennsylvania and am currently working in the District of Philadelphia with 3rd-5th graders. Although I earned my license 3 short years ago, I have been tutoring since I was in middle school, primarily math. When I entered high school, I began to teach my peers as part of the National Honors Society, specializing in Algebra and History. Upon entering college, I commenced tutoring students from local preschools and elementary schools and have been ever since! I believe that each and every student, regardless of ability, has the capability to succeed in school. For this to occur, students need to be interested in what they are learning. The subject matter needs to be interactive, fun, motivating, and I create my lessons to reflect these ideas. I am a very patient, encouraging, and motivated individual, which allows me to be an exceptional tutor, and I look forward to working with you and your child!
