About Nina

My passion for the mental and emotional development of children has me transitioning from past roles in the safety and health fields, for something more direct. While in school to become an elementary school teacher, I'm looking for a family that values both compassion and structure that I have to provide. I've taken courses in developmental psychology as well as primary and special education. I have maintained regular babysitting schedules for 17 years (ages 1mo-18years), including children with verbal and nonverbal Autism. My full time role is as a licensed paraprofessional in an elementary school. I also value clear and open communication with parents, willing to communicate in both the style and frequency they prefer, barring any emergencies of course.
