About Nisha

Hello! My name is Nisha and I absolutely adore children! I am a DC area native and currently reside in downtown Washington, DC. Spending time with children is one of my greatest joys. My experience runs the gamut, from family caretaking to being a professional nanny. I come from a big family, so I've been taking care of children from a very young age, including taking my 1-year-old nephew on a flight to Florida when I was 15! I volunteered at Children's National Hospital as a Patient Care Volunteer for 3 years, and worked as a nanny for 2 years for girls aged 4 months to 2 years during the height of the pandemic. I believe in fostering an environment that is playful, engaging, educational when needed, and most importantly, safe and secure. I currently have some time off through the end of March and would love to help out a family for 1-2 weekdays per week. I am also available for babysitting year-round.
