About Nohemy

I am currently a college student and hopefully achieve my Bachelor's in Education. I have experience in childcare from infants (6 weeks) to pre-schoolers. I currently work at UNM Children's Campus where my tasks include: feeding, potty training, diapering, providing emotional support, teaching children communication skills (including signing for infants) and providing children with everything needed for their young minds. I am passionate about education and early childhood development. I speak both Spanish and English and some sign language. I like working with kids because I am currently enrolled in the University of New Mexico and hoping to get a BEd in Elementary Education. I strive to be a good role model to future generations. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to grow as a future educator and as a mentor. My skills include being able to communicate with children under stressful situations, being able to reason with children, and implementing boundaries accordingly.
