Experience: 10 yrs
Hi! I'm married and live in wake forest with one daughter who is 15 years old. I'm from Japan. So I can teach Japanese as well! I have had over 10 years of experience with being a Nanny. I took care of new born babies to teenagers. I'm a very caring and energetic person, who adores and love kids. I love to sing songs and dance with kids ! I'm very confident with this job!
Noriyo has been with our family since our son was just 5 months old. Over the past (almost) 3 years, she has become so much more than our nanny—she has become family. Our son is starting preschool at the end of August and we are very emotional about losing our beloved Noriyo! She has been there for every milestone, helping our son learn to crawl, take his first steps, build confidence, and grow into the curious, kind, and bright little boy he is today. When he was receiving speech therapy, she worked alongside us to reinforce his speech goals throughout the day. She has always been intentional about making learning fun by practicing reading and writing, teaching him about geography, the solar system, numbers and math, introducing him to Japanese (our son speaks Japanese fluently now thanks to her!), and constantly encouraging his natural curiosity through play and conversation. She loves to sing, dance, and so crafts as well. On top of all of that, she is very mindful of preparing food and is extremely respectful of our dietary preferences. Some of our son’s first and favorite foods now are onigiri and miso soup! Our son is autistic (Level 1), and she has been an incredible support. She meets him where he is, celebrates his strengths, encourages his independence, and loves him unconditionally. Her patience, warmth, and intuition are truly remarkable. More than anything, she genuinely loves the children she cares for. She treats our son as if he were her own, and that love and affection are evident every single day. As parents, there is no greater gift than knowing your child is safe, cherished, and deeply loved while you’re away. She is dependable, trustworthy, nurturing, professional, and incredibly experienced with children from infancy through school age. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest parts of our son starting preschool, but we know another family is going to be so incredibly fortunate to have her.
