About Oksana

Hi! My name is Oksana, and I recently moved to Raleigh. I bring over seven years of hands-on experience as a foster parent, along with a year of teaching middle school English in Forsyth County. I am currently a foster parent to two children and also have a child of my own, so caring for kids is not just my work - it's my life. Through fostering, I have extensive experience supporting children from diverse backgrounds, including those with behavioral challenges, trauma histories, and special needs. I am patient, nurturing, structured, and committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel secure and valued. I value diversity, inclusion, and emotional development, and I strive to ensure every child feels seen, respected, and celebrated.
