Hello! I have 13 years of experience working with children, infants - 8 years. I recently moved back to San Rafael from Hawaii. I worked as a homeschool teacher in Marin for a group of kindergarteners during Covid and in Hawaii ran an arts and nature-based camp. Before this I was a Montessori teacher. I have taken courses through the Boulder County Council for Early Childhood and am Safe Sleep certified as well as infant and toddler CPR/AED/First Aid certified. I am also a practicing buddhist. I am loving, engaging, gentle, and skillful. I believe play, creative and self-directed exploration, is key to learning! I love to do creative activities such as sing-alongs and interactive story telling. I also love to spend time in nature with children. Overall supporting learning, inspiring joy, and ensuring your child's safety are my top priorities. I do charge a bit more for nannying because of my background in teaching. We worked with Olivia for a year, and she was truly an exceptional nanny to our boys (ages 3 and 5). She planned thoughtful, educational outings, brought so much warmth and calm into our home, and cared for them with genuine love. She also handled all of their transportation—driving them to and from school, taking them to activities, and bringing them on fun excursions—and we always felt completely confident in her judgment and reliability. One of the things we appreciated most was how intentional she was about helping them grow—whether it was supporting their emotional regulation, guiding them through sibling dynamics, or helping them build the skills to play and get along together. Our boys absolutely thrived under her care, and we always felt at ease knowing they were with her.
