I am a student pursuing a double degree in Chemistry and Archaeology, with additional coursework in ECE. I first fell in love with childcare after reading several books on RIE and the Montessori method - evidence-based models of care interest me greatly. Since then, my scope of interest has widened greatly, and I utilize many strategies to encourage respectful relationships between children and others, the environment, and themselves. I love the outdoors, and especially bird watching. I work with Seattle Audubon frequently on volunteer projects on my own and to coordinate service projects for my college's branch of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. During a month in late summer, I work on an archaeological site in Bulgaria - my scope of interest is in Late Roman sites in the Thracian region. I am also a great mechanic, a multi-instrumentalist, and an avid home chef with two years of formal training.

We love Olivia! She's super smart, punctual, great sense of humor, and very kind. Everything you would want in a date-night babysitter. I could tell that she genuinely enjoyed hanging with our girls. And they enjoyed spending time with her. She's also has a variety of interests--academic/athletic. Super happy to have her over and will def hire again!
