I am an experienced certified educator offering academic enrichment through a structured program. My virtual 15-hour courses are scheduled over 5-15 weeks and cost just $15 an hour! Each course focuses on enhancing key skills in reading, writing, and math that a student needs to feel prepared for the first year college placement tests, or for anyone looking to strengthen and maintain higher order thinking skills. My courses are best for high school and GED students, students entering college, and other adult learners. Topic Areas include: ~ Identifying the Main Idea ~ Critically analyzing text ~ Structuring an argument ~ Writing topic sentences ~ Understanding Algebraic equations and operations Courses are offered daytime, evenings, and weekends and include a workbook of hands-on activities for skill building. My teaching experience includes grade school subjects, undergraduate coursework, and general and special education, in public, charter, and private school settings.
