About Pamela

I'm a recent made a career change leaving financial services to become a middle school math teacher. I'm currently applying to graduate programs to start next fall and studying to take the teachers licence tests. I started babysitting in seventh grade, and since then I have worked with many different families from infants to middle school. The largest family I babysat for had 5 children with the oldest having special needs. I have worked at camps as a counselor for 5 summers and a bus monitor for 2 of those summers. I have a BA is math with a minors in education and biology. During my undergrad, I did three internships in classrooms; a second grade classroom, 4th-5th grade Montessori classroom, and 6th grade math classroom. I'm very patient, fun, and creative. My favorite activities to do with kids are crafts, nature, cooking, sports, games, and puzzles. I love animals, can travel, do house work, and can help with homework.
