About Paola

I come from Bogota, the capital city of Colombia. I graduated as Spanish and foreign languages teacher and have a master's degree in Neuropsychology and education. This is my second year as a dual program teacher in the US but my 13th year as an educator. I have experience working with children between 4 to 14 years old. I live with my 13-year-old son. I'd describe my personality as responsible, caring and committed. I like working with kids because they help me see things from different perspectives. Besides, I love seeing their faces when they learn something new from you and I find fascinating their capacity to imagine things. I started working with kids when I graduated from the university. My first job was as a kindergarten teacher. I taught them the core subjects in a bilingual school. Then I began to work with older students in 3rd and 4th grade. I am a very responsible and engaged person. I am funny and enjoy spending time with time playing with children.
