About Parker

I am a current grad student at The Chicago School pursing my MA in Counseling Psych with a concentration in child and adolescent treatment. I have been a nanny since I moved to Chicago and have worked at daycares since my time here. I am looking for more flexible childcare work as I am in my second year of schooling. I have a special love for infants but have work with kids pf all ages. I have also worked with adolescents for a year in inpatient outdoor therapy treatment. I have a significant amount of first aid and wilderness medical training. I grew up with a mom who was a doula and worked at a montessori school, so I love encouraging creativity and play, especially outside and in nature, with all of the kids I work with. I have a lot of experience with gentle approaches to teaching kids how to communicate and manage their emotions. I also have a car currently reside in Evanston.
