I absolutely love working with children. In 2010, I applied for and received my first job working at the YMCA as a counselor in North Carolina. I eventually became what was called a "veteran" counselor, and started working as an office manager and the director of the Junior Counselor program with the fifth graders. Through that, I found that caring for children was one of my passions in life. I started with Kindergarten and watched them grow up until moving expenses exceeded what I was earning.
