About Patricia

I'have worked closely with older adults in healthcare settings, where I supported them not just medically, but emotionally and culturally as well. As a medical assistant, I helped with daily clinical needs--vital signs, medications, appointments, follow-ups--while making sure patients feel safe, respected, and understood. My role as a Spanish medical interpreter has been especially meaningful for elderly patients who often feel vulnerable or anxious because of language barriers. I have been a bridge between them and their providers, helping them express concerns, understand diagnoses, and make informed decisions about their care.
