I was fostering mother for special needs children over 12 years. Underwent extensive training through CHMC. Adopted our daughter who was on c-line, g-tube, kangaroo pumps w/ferrel bags for over 12 years. Care for 15-year-old 2 yrs with cerebral palest, paralysis, non verbal, feeding disorders, experience in using lifts. I'm very patient & loving. Love interacting and encouraging child, no matter their challenges, to interact, hands on skills, therapy if needed. Read stories, play games @ great tutor. Mother of 4 & grandmother to 14. Lots of experience. Years experience with kids dealing with challenges such as ADD, bipolar & eating disorders. Creative play & getting away from technology & more imaginative play along w/a perfect balance in both areas.
