My experience in previous care roles solidified my desire to positively impact their lives. I'm patient, compassionate, and detail-oriented, always prioritizing a professional approach. I provide transportation, run errands, assist with personal care and light housekeeping, prepare meals, and offer mobility assistance. I also have experience supporting individuals with dementia, including medical management, physical activity, adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion. I communicate with families through verbal updates, regular texts or calls, and always follow their preferred method. Building a connection with your loved one means understanding their preferences and personal history. I have some college experience, CPR training, and First Aid certification.
