Every situation is different. I am a recent heart transplant receipient, and this was advertised in the job posting. I will refer to the applicant as "PN" for her privacy. Upon interviewing PN I asked if she would be okay providing a copy of her driver's license. During the interview she was amenable to this request. I called her references and she had glowing references. Also knowing she lived far from me, I let her know that we were absolutely okay with an alternate schedule so we could reduce her drive time in coming to work. She worked for me for 1 day. Upon the first day, I asked for a copy of her driver's license which she said she would provide. I had to be hospitalized that same day due to rejection and I am going to be in the hospital for a while getting treatment. She knew the situation before leaving work that day. During my hospital stay I get a long text message stating that she is not comfortable in providing her driver's license, even though she stated she would before hire. The next day, I received an "I quit" text message stating the drive is just too far. I was hesitant to write this review but she knew my situation, she knew I am in the hospital fighting rejection. PN was friendly and complaint with this request prior to hire, but not afterwards. I feel she should have stated that she wasn't comfortable with providing her driver's license prior to hire and with this I really feel that PN was disingenuous and misrepresented herself during her interview. It's a very sad situation which leaves me trying to find another house cleaner while still in the hospital because I really need help.
