Having raised a child myself, I understand a parent needs to have peace of mind their child is always safe and in good hands. My experience in childcare is both in a family setting & as an after school counselor. As a private nanny, my experience is with babies, toddlers, and elementary children. In my current position, I have been caring for a baby since he was 4 mos old, bottle feeding, diaper changing, laundry, preparing fresh purees, feeding solids, singing, meal preparation. Prior to this, I cared for girls ranging in age 6 mos-9 yrs. Brought the girls to school, homework help. Prepared meals & taught the girls how to cook. We would frequent the playground, the bookstore & explored reading & learning books. We would sing & dance and make surprise videos for Mom. The girls knew they were loved, in good care & safe with me. As an after school counselor: Direct Supervision, Overcoming challenges; children with Autism, learning & behavior problems, mentoring, empathy, problem solving
