About Pelumi

Hello! My name is Pelumi, and I am a fourth-year medical student who is CPR and BCLS certified. Caring for children has been a meaningful part of my life for many years, and I have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages in churches, hospitals, schools, and summer camps. I volunteered in my church's childcare ministry for eight years, caring for children from infancy through fifth grade. During high school, I also volunteered in the pediatric unit at a local hospital for three years, where I supported children and their families and gained valuable experience interacting with pediatric patients. I have facilitated day camps for young girls, where I planned activities, organized field trips, encouraged teamwork, and helped create a safe, fun environment. Today, my medical training has strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure. I believe in age-appropriate play and partnering with families to provide dependable, compassionate care.
