About Penelope

Hi! My name is Penelope, and caring for children has always been a big part of my life. As an older sister, I helped care for my younger siblings and step-siblings, which sparked my passion for childcare. I've since gained experience with children ages 1-11 through babysitting, volunteering, and field placements in elementary school classrooms. I'm a college student majoring in Elementary Education with coursework in Early Childhood Development. I also volunteered over 400 hours at a local domestic violence shelter, caring for children while their parents attended support groups. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and your child's safety is always my top priority. I enjoy crafts, outdoor activities, reading, games, and helping with homework. I'm also happy to help with meal prep, transportation, and light housekeeping. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children thrive and parents have peace of mind.
