About Penny

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, friendly, and hard working. I like working with kids because I love making an impact on children and learning more about myself while working with children. I'm looking for a job that is consistent and allows me to foster a connection with not only the children, but also a mutual level of trust with the parents as well. I started working with kids when I started babysitting in High School. I continued working with kids at YMCA Storer Camps when I started in 2020 and continued until this current summer. I also worked at University School of Nashville as a Teacher's Assistant the previous school year. In my spare time, I like to read books and hang out with cat Kyla. I also like doing outdoorsy activities such as hiking or paddling. My skills include coming up with creative activities, CPR and BLS certified, and creating positive relationships with children.
