About Peri

Hello! My name is Peri and I am a Senior at West Chester University. I am graduating this May with a degree in Early Grades Education (PK-4). I am currently a student teacher at Downingtown School District (2nd grade). I have acquired many experiences working with children over the years. I was a camp counselor two summers in a row and completed field experiences through my university that include being a teacher assistant in a Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Third Grade classroom. I am passionate about helping children learn and grow. I believe showing that you care about a child's well-being is the first step to supporting them through their intellectual, emotional, mental, and social development, as well as engaging them through a multitude of tactile, visual, and locomotor activities.
