About Pernilla

I started babysitting 2-year-old twins at the age of 11. As a teenager babysitting was my life. As soon as I was home from school I went across the street and watched the kids until their father came home from work around 9 p.m. I would make dinner, do homework, play games, bathe the kids, brush their teeth and get them into bed. I babysat every weekend and every holiday. I was well known all by word of mouth. I continued babysitting until I had my own daughter at 21. While raising my daughter I worked at a day care center. Then at the age of 25 my son was born premature at 24 weeks only weighing 1 pound 1 ounce. I was a stay at home mom for 10 years attending to his special needs making sure he got to every therapy appointment needed. Now my daughter is 26 and living on her own and my son is nearly 22. He's come a long way but still needs my help from time to time. I'm hoping that one day I can be so lucky to foster a child. I absolutely love tending to children and their needs.
