About Persephone

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, compassionate, and patient. I like caring for seniors because I know that quality senior care can be hard to find. I started caring for seniors when I was around 14 years old. My great-grandmother had vascular dementia and lived with my immediate family and would be aggressive with some of the hired caregivers. I became one of her primary caregivers for several years(around 3) before she passed this September(2023). In my spare time, I'm a student and an artist. I'm currently a student at a local community college, and I want to become a psychiatric occupational therapist. One thing you should know about me is that I'm very observant. If there's a problem I see, I will point it out. My skills include dementia care, meal assistance, and light housekeeping.
