About Philip John

I am ready to share my skills and knowledge with students so they can reach their full potential and enjoy the same feelings of fulfillment about learning. My approach to teaching emphasizes an understanding of "the bigger picture," and I have developed valuable test-taking skills and study habits that I would love to share with my students. I have tutored throughout high school and in college continued to help my peers with their assignments, across a range of subjects. My assistance has helped my students to maintain or improve their grades. I attended high school at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory, a private school in New York City. I graduated with honors at The Johns Hopkins University, with a BS in Molecular & Cellular Biology (BS) and a minor in History. I am applying to dental schools this cycle, and am currently employed as a research technologist! I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, driven, and patient.
