About Pia

Pia is a dedicated educator who's driven to close the educational gap in the early literacy. She majored in Human Development in California State University East Bay and completed her Masters degree in Human Development specializing in Administration and Human Services in Pacific Oaks. Pia has worked with over 120 students St. Joachim Preschool, Head Start and St. John's Catholic School as a Preschool Teacher and Pre-K Director respectively. Over the years, in collaboration with various teachers and families, Pia was able to simplified and streamline each holistic, customized-lesson plans so that she can help each of her students to meet and exceed the their goals. Pia focuses on the social-emotional, cognitive, and academic readiness of every child in every lesson in English, Language Arts and Math. Her goal is for her students to be confident, competent and ready as they face next stage of their education.
