About Rachael

I started really getting involved all throughout middle and high school in the special needs department assisting in multiple classrooms and after-school activities and tutoring. Students' ages ranged from 6-18. I did 2 summer school teachers assisting positions, also working with children with all sorts of disabilities. Growing up, my mother has worked for a friend who became quadriplegic. She has needed care 24/7 since her accident 17 years ago. Around 12-13 years old, I was all hands on deck with helping her and my mom, since us and my grandma are the only help she has. I also have three nieces ages 6, 4 and 18 months. I have a lot of experience with them from watching them occasionally, to keeping them for up to a week. I also have had several opportunities here and there to watch friends or my co-workers children. Currently, I am going to school to get my BSN and also working as a nurse in a dermatology office.
