About Rachael

I'm a current PhD candidate in theatre at UW looking for summer work mid-June through late September. Whether you need a goofball to do crafts and play with kiddos, help with college applications, or infant care, I'm thrilled to step in! I'd describe my personality as patient, fun, and curious. I like working with kids because they're learning all the time. I'm looking for something part time and close to Fremont/Queen Anne. I first started working with kids as a babysitter and nanny. In college I worked as a camp counselor, and after graduate school I started teaching after school programs. I've worked with infants and toddlers, 2nd-5th grade, and teens. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my dog, Winnie, cook and bake, quilt, practice yoga, and go to the movies. One thing you should know is my availability will change after September when the fall quarter starts. My skills include teaching/tutoring, playing games or energetic activities, crafts, and cooking.
