About Rachael

I am a Montessori educator based in Chicago looking for a full or part-time nannying position for the summer. With a background in art, food, and education, I have a passion for creating meaningful hands-on experiences, especially through arts & crafts and outdoor exploration, building life skills and sparking joy through cooking, and nurturing children's unique academic and social-emotional development. I'd describe my personality as upbeat, creative, and detail-oriented. I like working with kids because their curiosity makes the world feel bigger and brighter. Nurturing that curiosity, being a steady and positive presence in their life journey, and helping them grow as individuals is incredibly rewarding. In my spare time, I like to read, do arts & crafts, cook, and take my dog to the beach or park. I am happy to provide my resume if requested!
