I am a certified teacher who just finished my 7th year teaching, ranging from 1st to 11th grade. I'm enrolled in an online masters program and am looking for part time work this upcoming year. I started babysitting a couple girls when I was in high school. These girls were 2 and 4 years old. Then I had a few babysitting jobs in college where I watched families with 2-5 kids. I continued babysitting post graduation for friends who had families ranging from 3-8 kids. I love being around kids and helping them love the world around them. I am also open to providing care for an elderly woman. I lived with an elderly woman the year out of college. I provided companionship and some meal prep in exchange for rent and it was a great arrangement. I would be interested in finding a similar situation. She had early onset dementia. My great grandma also had dementia. I feel comfortable around elderly people- I have played bridge with my grandma (now age 91) and her friends for years now.
