About Rachel

Hi there! I'm Rachel and I have 8 years of experience in childcare and have taken care of kids of all ages. I believe in being actively involved with the kids I care for. Whether we're singing karaoke, shooting hoops, or exploring hobbies like Minecraft, I love fostering connections through shared activities. Cooking is another favorite; I enjoy teaching kids how to cook, which encourages creativity, while developing skills and healthy habits. In addition to babysitting, I've tutored junior high and high school students, volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and supported children with special needs. Safety is a priority, and I'm CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. I recently graduated from Alma College with a B. S. in Neuroscience and am applying to medical school. In my free time, you can find me with a coffee and a good book or trying new recipes. I'm eager to bring my enthusiasm for learning and caring for children to your family!
