About Rachel

My experience as a housekeeper comes from a world-class inn and restaurant in the Virginia countryside called The Inn at Little Washington. I worked there for a span of about five years in my early twenties after I'd graduated from my undergraduate program. It gave me direction at a time when I was unsure of what I wanted to do next. I cleaned hotel style rooms, as well as guest houses and a private residence. I learned how to clean and care for linen, carpeting, antique furniture, the list goes on. As a five star property, the standards for cleaning were high and non-negotiable. I take pride in my time working there because I witnessed how my work affected the guest experience. It was magical. There is no place like The Inn, but I believe my skills, knowledge, and attention to detail would be well suited to housekeeping in a family home.
