About Rachel

Hi, I'm Rachel. I graduated from Whitworth University in 2020 with my Bachelors in Elementary Education with an endorsement in English language learning. I am a certified teacher who because of COVID, found it hard to get a teaching job in the school districts, so I would enjoy using my skills as a teacher to assist families with their needs during this difficult time of distant learning. I have a history of babysitting, working at camps and watching kids while their parents were working from home. I have a resume that details more of my prior jobs/experiences that I can send to anyone who is interested. For nine years now I have been a nanny for a 15-year-old girl with Down Syndrome, currently I engage with her over virtual learning and practice her social emotional skills. I am patient, responsible, organized and have a decently flexible schedule, I am great with kids and very trustworthy.
