About Rachel

Hello there! I'm pleased to be available to potentially help your family with your care needs. I am a veteran and experienced licensed teacher, basketball coach, and a mom to some wonderful children myself! I have experience with children of all ages and all backgrounds. I also have cared for disabled young people and elderly adults (my grandparents final years). I have references available, a reliable vehicle, and I have flexible availability. My own children are middle school age and up, I am looking forward to working with families in new capacities. Other qualifications: conversational Spanish, I can tutor in all subjects (except advanced high school math), and I have a variety of memberships to local area attractions for enrichment. In terms of education, I hold a Masters in Education, but have also completed courses beyond my M. Ed. in history/social science and law. I have CPR/First Aid/Concussion training, as well as training from AHSAA. All of my credentials can be verified
