About Rachel

Hi, my name is Rachel, and I'm a 38-year-old writer and editor who always seems to want to return to infant nannying. This has been a part-time job/joy since I was 18. I've worked with over 10 infants and their families over the years. Why specialize in caring for infants? My reasons are manifold: I seem to have a way with them. I find them fascinating, enlivening, and downright adorable. They feed my energy, and I enjoy helping families through the transition of their first child. I also appreciate that babies don't carry illness as often as older kids, which makes this a more sustainable part-time job for me. I spend the mornings working on my novel, but I am available for afternoons and evenings. I have references, infant CPR training, and considerable experience. Vaxxed against COVID and whooping cough.
