Hello everyone, my name is Rachel and I am currently a 4th year at SDSU studying to be a teacher and pursuing a TESL (teaching english as a second language) certificate. I love working with kids and I will list out some of my previous experiences! 1. Summer Camp Counselor in Germany on Military Base! I did an internship this past summer for three months where I worked on a military base children center looking after kids ages 5-12. I received training from the military teams, organized classrooms, helped supervise the 50-80 kids enrolled, led field trips, and did programming for club time. 2. Tutor I was a tutor at a center where I would work with 2-4 kids at a time and assist on reading, writing, and math 3. Instructional Aide IA2 for Summer School During the summer of 2023, I worked for the month long summer school which is provided for students with special needs. I was placed in a preschool class of moderate/severe students.
