About Rachel

Several of my favorite activities to do with children involve spending active time outside and finding ways to express creativity. I have the most experience with younger ages, but enjoy spending time with children of all ages (including babies!) I completed my B. A. in Elementary education at Bethel University with a pre-primary specialty. I've taught swim lessons for 5 years, spent several summers as a camp counselor, and more recently worked in a childcare setting through the YMCA from 2017 until the present. I have four children of my own, ranging in age from 5 to 14 years old. I also love to meet and include pets! I'm looking for a job that allows for flexibility and an opportunity to earn income. With four kids, I will occasionally need days off due to sickness or school holidays. I can help with children, housework, pet-keeping, and assisting adults. In my spare time I love to read, take my dog on walks, and go running in nature preserves.
