About Rachel

Hi there! I'm a 36-year-old, corporate lady trying to take a step back and enjoy what I once did. I'm an enthusiastic individual, who loves working with kids. I love to teach them as much as I love to learn from them. I do a lot of hiking and nature walks so I like to implement that into my child care. I feel a lot of appreciation for nature has dissipated over the years of developing technology. I have some schooling in Early Childhood Education. I have experience with many different age groups working in Early Learning Centers as well Camp Counselors. In my last position, I was a nanny for a family of 2 children for 6 years. I had become part of the family but inevitably, the kids started school and I babysat when needed. I'm also a step mother to a wonderful and intelligent 17-year-old. I feel I am a positive influence for children and adults alike! I love all animals so having fur babies in the household is no issue. I can cook and do some light cleaning if need be!
