About Rachel

Hello! I have tons of experience working with children! I have taught children for over 3 years, coached sports, babysat (babies), and mentored youth! I spent 2 years teaching 1st grade, a year teaching English to Kindergarten student, and a year teaching English online to adults and children. I can speak Spanish at an intermediate level and would love to keep using my skills! My number one goal is building a positive relationship with my students and figuring out their specific learning style and interests. I love using my creativity to make learning fun! I have tons of ideas for hands on activities, projects, science experiments, and literacy games! I prioritize building self-confidence, accountability, and self-motivation within my students so they take their learning into their own hands.
