About Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel. I'm a school-based occupational therapist with summer availability. I'd love to support a family (or families) during the summer months! I like working with kids because I enjoy being able to care for them while making the time I spend with them enjoyable. My OT background enables me to make almost any activity fun - from backyard play, to arts and crafts - even cleaning up can be a good time! I'm looking for a job that I can get to know a family and be someone they can rely on for a variety of things. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself. I've pretty much always been involved in teaching/childcare. Personally, I grew up attending church and volunteered to support teachers' classrooms with younger kids. Professionally, I've been a school-based occupational therapist for 6 years now. I also spend time watching my two nephews with my wife.
