About Rachel

Hi! I'm a University of Chicago student from Park City, Utah with 7+ years of childcare experience. I helped raise my three much younger siblings, which sparked my passion for working with kids. I'm CPR certified and have 5+ years of experience with Basin Recreation, where I worked full-time as a lead counselor in the summers (35 hrs/week), specializing in ages 4-6 and leading outdoor adventure camps for older kids, as well as part-time youth programs throughout the year, including soccer, multi-sport, and after-school programs. I'm active, creative, and love getting kids outdoors-hiking, playing soccer, and doing arts and crafts (including face painting!). I also regularly babysat for local and visiting families and have extensive experience with children of all ages. I'm academically inclined and comfortable tutoring in various subjects, with experience through Big Brothers Big Sisters. I'm responsible, energetic, and focused on creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
