About Rachel

Hi there, I'm Rachel! I'm a 32-year-old with over a decade's experience working with children. I'll be returning from travels and back in the New Haven area for September '26, and would love to help out local families with childcare needs! Experience: I've nannied for families with multiple children ranging from 2 months - 14 years old. I've worked as a camp counselor, and as a social skills group facilitator for kids with Autism and ADHD. I was an ESL teacher for elementary students in Korea. I worked as an au pair in Australia and volunteered at two schools for kids with special needs. I aim to provide a supportive, encouraging space for children to explore, grow, and be themselves. I love being outdoors, doing arts & crafts, reading, and engaging in ways that don't rely on technology. I'm a compassionate, patient, and open-minded individual. I realize the importance of adapting to each family's specific needs, and look forward to chatting with you and your family!
